Le centre ENIC-NARIC France, rattaché à France Education International, a mis en place une procédure spécifique pour la reconnaissance des diplômes des réfugiés. La procédure est gratuite, simple et rapide. Les demandes des étudiants réfugiés sont traitées en priorité. En 2019, le centre a expertisé 23 956 dossiers, dont 3 816 concernaient les réfugiés, demandeurs d’asiles et bénéficiaires de la protection subsidiaire. Les professions réglementées (médecin, sage-femme, infirmier, puéricultrice, biologiste-vétérinaire, pharmacien, psychologue, assistant socio-éducatif-spécialité assistant social, technicien paramédical, auxiliaire de puériculture, auxiliaire de soins (aide-soignant et assistant dentaire) ne sont pas traitées par le centre ENIC-NARIC, mais par le CNFTP.
